Since 2007, Laure Sélignac porcelain art organizes a contest to showcase amateur and professional expertise in the art of porcelain.
The Laura Price unites each edition a large number of participants and is support by famous french personalities : Laurence Benguigui, Laurent Wauquiez, Valery Giscard D'Estaing French President, Jean Rochefort, Nathalie Baye ...

This competition aims is to encourage the efforts and craftsmanship. This event is organized in order to preserve the know-how and highlight the quality of an ancient art, such as the decoration on Limoges porcelain. This initiative demonstrates the beauty and excellence of ceramic works, painted by hand only. The idea of this award is to allow several different and creative, to express freely their creativity and fully explore the boundaries of their imagination.

The jury of the sixth edition of the porcelain art competition , pictured attached chaired by Nathalie Baye, rewarded creating Colette Senecal, who had declined the assigned topic of green foliage on a plate Limoges porcelain.

Each juror has got chips that allow him (her) to choose the porcelain pieces he (she) wishes to select. Jury President has twice as many chips as all other members.

In the first round, only creatives with over ten selections are preserved. This year we still had eleven works smooth, porcelain vases, of tableware, jewelry, porcelain ... The final round allows selects the winner.




Reward the most deserving inception in porcelain art  is very difficult. Porcelains proposed are all beautiful.

Laure Selignac is a century-old house that was taken over by its current director, Alexandra Groussard and whose business is the design by hand on ceramic.
