The pattern for this porcelain tea service set is directly inspired by the famous queen of France, Marie-Antoinette. Marie-Antoinette adored fashion and decoration. She had a particular appreciation for pastel colors like lilac, rose, light teals. . . which gave a truly romantic feel to her royal apartments.
Her style evolved into that of pure elegance but also glamour.
The technique of Embossed Gold was discovered by Jean Larat, founder of the company in 1919. He creates a process allowing to deposit Gold Embossed on porcelain. Today based on respect of tradition, we can explore unknown territory in a much quicker and more efficient way. Plus de détails
